GYG Athlete of The Month:
Athlete Name | Description |
---|---|
Anthony Le | Anthony has been an SRA athlete for a little over 3 years now and has only ever missed a small handful of sessions. He is someone who quietly goes about his work and is always doing the extras whether that be mobility, recovery, core work or making other athletes feel welcome. |
Nikita Young | Nikita is another athlete who has been with SRA for well over 3 years, like Anthony – she has only ever missed a small handful of sessions and has really grown as an athlete and person in her time with us. Nikita is great for culture and has been a really strong role model for our younger athletes, showing them what hard work can help you achieve.
Congratulations to both GYG Athletes for the month of September. |
Thank you to Guzman Y Gomez, the Australian and Internationally renowned Mexican Cuisine Restaurant for endorsing our “GYG Athlete of The Month”.
Each month we celebrate 2 athletes who have strongly demonstrated our core values; Belief, Discipline & Ownership.
The winners can each collect a GYG Gift Voucher from SRA Headquarters next time they visit.

The off-season is one of the greatest opportunities an athlete can have – a time to reset, build strength, sharpen skills, and prepare to take the next step. What you do now sets the tone for the season ahead, and at SRA we’re committed to giving you every tool to return in career-best shape.
I would like to pause and acknowledge the Knox Raiders NBL1 Women’s team on being crowned National Champions – an achievement built on belief, discipline, and ownership that we’re all incredibly proud to be connected with. Congratulations as well to long-time SRA athlete Paige Bradley on earning Finals MVP honours, a true reflection of her work both on and off the court.
