SRA Award Winners – Class of 2026
At SRA, our awards are about far more than performance metrics, stats, or highlights. They represent the culture, standards, and values we live by every single day: Belief, Discipline, and Ownership.
The 2026 SRA Awards recognise the athletes, coaches, and staff who consistently showed up, raised the standard, and embodied what it truly means to be part of the SRA community.
Here are our 2026 Award Winners
Mr SRA – Isaiah Stratford
The ultimate representation of what SRA stands for. Isaiah consistently led by example, completing 169 sessions across the year, achieving all of his individual goals and really buying into the SRA community. Isaiah has also recently put his hand up to be the Lead Boys Coach for the Edinburgh College Basketball Academy which SRA will be spearheading across 2026.
Mrs SRA – Jess Meldrum
Another super consistent athlete across 2025, Jess is an athlete who logged 153 sessions, always showed up with a positive mindset and quietly went about her business. With the new addition of young Tilly into the family, Jess’s efforts post pregnancy have been inspiring for all SRA community members.
Belief Award – Marc De Lulio
After coming to SRA to rehab an ACL injury, Marc has shown nothing but Belief and Discipline in his approach to attacking his rehab. Walking around 9kg heavier (lean muscle) and being the strongest he has ever been, we are super proud of the work Marc has put in across his entire rehab. Special shout out to Marc’s physio – Kiera Rowe who has been brilliant in guiding Marc every step of the way.
Discipline Award – Aussie Smith
A long term SRA member, Aussie is an athlete who breathes Discipline. It’s very rare for Aussie to ever miss a workout, not log his session notes or miss a performance meeting. Aussie has bought into the SRA culture from day one and is someone who is always sending other athletes our way contributing the growth and expansion of our community.
Ownership Award – Alier Tong (Back-to-Back Winner)
Going back-to-back is no accident. Alier continues to take full ownership of his development, his standards, and his actions. Towards the back end of the year, Alier put his hand up to help SRA with some small cleaning and maintenance responsibilities around the gym. He is someone we strongly value and appreciate for being an integral part of our community.
Most Improved – Bailey Deckert
Recovering from shoulder surgery, Bailey’s growth over the last 12 months was impossible to ignore. Another athlete who never skipped a session, did everything he was told and found the one percent things to help himself get better every single day. From mindset to movement quality to confidence, Bailey’s progress has been outstanding.
Hype Master – Rahni Samason
Energy matters and Coach Rahni brought it every single session. From lifting the room to backing athletes, Rahni played a massive role in driving the environment and culture at SRA across 2025. Holding the Montrose Football Team accountable to their high performance standards, could just be the highlight of last year. Thanks a million to Coach Rahni.
Worst Taste in Music – Isaac Biasuzzo (Back-to-Back Winner)
Some awards you don’t want to defend… but Isaac has done it anyway. Back-to-back champion for questionable playlist selections. Consistency is consistency – even when the aux cord probably shouldn’t be yours.
Thank You, SRA Community
These awards reflect the people that make SRA what it is, athletes who commit, staff who lead, and a community that pushes each other forward.
To every award winner: congratulations.
To everyone involved in SRA in 2026: thank you for creating the standard.
Here’s to an even bigger year ahead.
