Welcome To The Team
We’re excited to welcome Jacob Avery as the newest member of the SRA team! Jacob steps into the role of Facility Manager, where he’ll be leading the charge on member experience. His focus will be on ensuring every athlete and member feels supported, connected, and part of the SRA community. With his passion for building strong relationships and creating a positive environment, Jacob will play a key role in driving our culture forward and helping athletes get the very best out of their SRA experience.

GYG Athlete of The Month:
Athlete Name | Description |

Josh Hawkins | Josh is an athlete who unfortunately ruptured his ACL towards the backend of the 2025 Football Season. Despite his injury, Josh has been super consistent with his rehab working alongside SRA’s Physio James Elwin.
Josh is kicking goals with his rehab as he prepares for a return to run program over the coming weeks. |
Kate Moorhen | Kate has been an SRA Athlete for around 4 years and has only ever missed a handful of sessions. She is someone who used to travel to our facility 4-5 times per week all the way from Ivanhoe and has now transitioned into our online training program as she continues to work on achieving her goals around football.
Kate is always someone who puts her hand up to help and is an appreciated member of our community. Congratulations to both GYG Athletes for the month of September. |

Directors Summary
October has been another incredible month at SRA, I am excited to welcome aboard Jacob as he takes on the challenging role of being our Facility Manager, lot’s of hats will be worn.
I am personally excited for the upcoming WNBL season and am looking forward to watching all of our athletes compete with and against each other. Special mention to Nikita Young, a lot of hard work behind closed doors has earned you this opportunity and this next chapter will be an important one.
