Director of SRA Sports Therapy, Shaun has been in the industry for over 8 years, during this time he has worked with some of the most dedicated and passionate athletes in the country.
His journey began when he was given the opportunity to work at North Melbourne Football Club as a Sports Trainer for 4 years. This experience allowed Shaun to understand the level of discipline, commitment and hard work required to achieve high performance standards at the elite level. He was also able to gain valuable insight into the unique demands and challenges that come with being a professional athlete.
Over the years Shaun has had the privilege of privately coaching over 10 Australian level athletes from a variety of sports including Basketball, Netball, Ultimate Frisbee & Slalom Kayaking, helping them reach their full potential and achieve their sporting dreams.
He has also undertaken extensive studies in Strength & Conditioning, Sports Therapy, Remedial Massage and a variety of many other disciplines which has given him a well-rounded understanding of the human body and the most effective ways to achieve peak physical and mental performance.
As someone who has played basketball at a high level both in America and Australia, Shaun knows first-hand how important it is to have the right mindset, support, and training to succeed as an athlete. He brings the same level of dedication and passion to every aspect of his work at SRA.
Shaun’s mission is to create an environment that fosters growth, improvement, and success not only for athletes in their sporting careers but also for them as leaders, role models and great people in their lives away from sport.
