This month at SRA, sees a new SRA program being launched in the North West Suburbs of Melbourne. We welcome a new wave of athletes into the family and ramp up Physiotherapy services ahead of finals. Our Term 3 Junior Athlete Development Program is already over 50% full, and we have an exciting opportunity for coaches and/or healthcare professionals to hire out the SRA facilities. Term 3 Junior Athlete Development Program
Term 3 Junior Athlete Development Program has just ticked over 50% capacity.
This program is perfect for junior athletes between the ages of 9-15 looking for an introduction to strength & conditioning training, injury prevention and high performance habits.

New Strength & Conditioning Program – North East Suburbs of Melbourne
SRA Sports Therapy is excited to announce our latest partnership with Diamond Valley Basketball Association. Across Term 3, SRA will be running our full junior athlete development program for athletes in the North East Suburbs of Melbourne. This program is designed for junior basketball athletes who are looking to build strength, speed, power and resilience ready for try outs or to supplement their current season.

Matt Toop | Matt Toop first joined the SRA program midway through COVID19 lockdowns and has been a vital part to the growth, development and overall success of our community. Toopy is someone who has come leaps and bounds as both an athlete, leader and role model across the last 5 years and we are super proud of his latest performance data to be released where he ranked top 5 in both strength and athleticism. |
Paige Burrows | Paige is another athlete who has been with SRA since way back when she was just a 13 year old little tacker. Paige has also been a massive help in the growth and development of our community; currently coaching our U8’s & U10’s Junior Academy at Knox, helping out with many workshop events and also recently being crowned as “SRA’s Strongest Female Athlete”.

Directors Summary
June marks the end of the financial year and July marks the start of a new one. A personal Thank You to all of our hard working staff, members, parents and families – your work doesn’t go unnoticed.
This month was another great opportunity to reflect and and see the results our program has been able to deliver since reopening at the back end of COVID19.
A special mention to Matt Toop, Paige Burrows and the many athletes who have stuck with us for the long haul, it is exciting to see you all continue to develop and grow into young leaders around our community.
I am excited for the launch of our North West Hub in collaboration with Diamond Valley Basketball Association, I believe this is only the beginning of something special.
