Get To Know Our New SRA Irish Interns

Roisin Smith
My name is Roisin Smith, I’m 20 years old and I’m a sport and exercise student at the University of Limerick, Ireland. As part of my course, I will be completing my 8 month work placement at SRA Sports Therapy from January until August. I love sports and the gym and I am excited to learn more about S&C coaching as well as business and marketing from the best at SRA.
My main sport is Gaelic football and I also play a bit of basketball and have played for about 15 years. I love coaching and have coached underage teams for my local club as well as university teams. On graduating, I’m hoping to complete a postgraduate degree and become a physiotherapist.
Over the next few months, I look forward to experiencing Melbourne’s sporting culture, travelling Australia and being a part of the SRA family and helping where I can. Can’t wait to meet you all in the gym!

Cian Delaney
i, my name is Cian Delaney and I’m 21 years old coming from County Kildare in Ireland. I have a lifelong passion for soccer having played competitively in County Kildare and Leinster football association. I transitioned into coaching this past year and previously led the U15 division 1 team at Newbridge United.
Having a passion for sports I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences at the University of Limerick.
Combining my practical experiences as an athlete and a coach with my studies, I can’t wait to start helping in the gym and the community here at SRA Sports Therapy.
