Edinburgh College Workshop with Dillon Stith
We recently had the privilege of welcoming Professional Basketball Star and current Australian 3 x 3 captain, Dillon Stith to Edinburgh College. The Edinburgh college basketball academy students got to hear all about Dillon’s inspiring journey that is nothing short of incredible! From his high school basketball journey in Virginia, USA and college basketball experience to playing professionally overseas all over the world, the young athletes of Edinburgh College learned a lot about the hard work, commitment and dedication it takes to achieve your goals and get to where you want to be. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Dillon for taking the time out of his busy schedule to talk to the students!
Edinburgh College Holiday Camps
The April school holidays are fast approaching and we’re excited to be running our Holiday Basketball Camps at Edinburgh College! Open to athletes of all abilities, this camp is the perfect opportunity for young players to build skills, confidence, and game understanding in a fun and supportive environment.
The camp will be held on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th April for athletes ages 5-10 years and Thursday 9th and Friday 10th April for athletes ages 11-15,, with all sessions running from 10am – 2pm. Whether your child is new to basketball or looking to take their game to the next level, this camp will provide engaging drills, game play, and expert coaching throughout the program.
Junior ADP
Our Term 1 Junior Athlete Development Program is officially back in full swing, and it’s fantastic to see so many new faces joining SRA to elevate their sporting performance and develop positive, sustainable habits. To kick things off, our athletes completed speed and jump testing under the guidance of SRA’s very own Coach Harry. These results allow us to create individualised programs tailored specifically to each athlete, ensuring they get the most out of their 8 week block. The energy and attitude these young athletes are bringing each week has been outstanding, showing up ready to work and absolutely smashing their sessions.
Keep an eye out in your emails for information regarding term 2 Junior ADP over the next few weeks.

Directors Summary
It’s been fantastic to see so many SRA athletes representing our community at the highest levels this month, both across Australia and Internationally. From 3×3 National Team selections, to 6th man of the year awards, a WNBL championship and state representation across the junior ranks, it has been awesome to see.
At SRA, we always remind our athletes that when you step onto the court or field, you’re not only representing yourself. You represent your team, your coaches, your peers, your family, and the wider community that supports your journey. Carrying yourself with pride, professionalism, and respect in those moments is just as important as anything else.
Congratulations to all of our athletes competing and achieving great things this month. We’re incredibly proud of the way you continue to represent the SRA community and can’t wait to see what else is in store.
