This month we welcome a fresh wave of athletes to SRA including Brody Lange, Dillon Stith, Madie Lee, Peyton Cameron & Xavier Bledson. Our Term 2 Under 8’s and U10’s Junior Academy with Knox Basketball is returning this week, we wrap up a successful round of school holiday camps; impacting over 200 athletes and SRA’s favourite red head has been crowned.
We saw Maia Reynolds break the female under 18’s drop jump record, 2 athletes get married, Abbey Ellis & Angus Glover were named in the Australian Opals & Boomers Squads and Rebecca Pizzey is our featured athlete of the month.
Finally, we can’t forget the latest winner of our monthly Deuce Brand Quiz and GYG Athletes of the month.

Knox U8 & U10’s Academy Program
Our Term 2 U8 & U10’s Academy Program starts back up with Knox Basketball Association next week.
This program is great for any athletes looking to improve their individual skills, game understanding as well as an introduction to strength & conditioning and injury prevention strategies.

SRA School Holiday Camps
Thank you to Diamond Valley Basketball Association, Denzel Facun from All Out Basketball and Hayden Morris for inviting us to assist with their school holiday programs.
Across the 3 camps we were able to provide the latest in strength & conditioning, injury prevention and high performance habits to 200+ athletes.

Earlier this month we ran a poll to find out who is SRA’s favourite red head.

GYG Athlete of The Month:

Isaiah Stratford | Isaiah has been all business since joining SRA in late November. Averaging 3.45 sessions per week Isaiah has been able to increase his bodyweight by 4kg and his vertical jump by a total of 10cm.Credit to the consistent work he has been putting in. |
Jess Meldrum | Since joining SRA in July 2023, Jess has only ever missed a very small number of sessions (even when she was pregnant with Matilda). Jess is someone who always welcomes new athletes to the gym and is a great role model for our younger members.
